Piper Sandler is currently seeking an intern for Summer 2026 in our Technology Business Line. This intern would work directly with our Equities Trading Technology group in Greenwich, CT.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) is desirable.
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization technologies is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• This internship is open to undergraduate or graduate students who graduate in December 2026 or Spring 2027 and have a GPA of 3.3 or above.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing automation scripts and tools for system provisioning and configuration.
• Support the maintenance and monitoring of our server storage infrastructure, including both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Help in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to server, storage, and cloud platforms.
• Participate in performance management tasks, ensuring system reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with various teams to understand application requirements and assist in delivering infrastructure solutions.
• Learn and apply best practices in documentation and adherence to company policies.
