Amplify is seeking an enthusiastic Corporate Strategy intern to join our team this summer to help us build and grow our innovative educational products in a fully remote program. The Corporate Strategy intern will work closely with our Finance and Corporate Strategy teams to advance enterprise business priorities. Our ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, a love for digital products, and be an eager teammate willing to help out and learn. The Summer Intern should also be passionate about education and building phenomenal products. Our summer program is a paid internship that runs between eight to ten weeks, from mid-June to early/mid-August. In addition to their job responsibilities, the summer interns will be exposed to the larger Amplify culture through participation in product demos, team builder activities, and opportunities to engage with Amplify's Employee Resource Groups. While our summer intern roles are remote positions, we require that interns are permitted to work in the US and reside in the US during the internship period.

Requirements

  • Be enrolled or have recently completed an MBA program
  • Have prior experience in management consulting, corporate development, or investment banking
  • Available for 8-10 weeks during the summer (full-time weekly schedule)
  • Knowledge of and interest in the K-12 education technology field

Responsibilities

  • Market landscape analysis - using market data and qualitative research to identify potential partners and acquisition targets
  • Shaping investment cases - partnering with cross-functional colleagues to evaluate emerging opportunities and investment areas
  • Supporting enterprise strategic planning process - collecting and synthesizing key market trends from internal and external experts and stakeholders
