The Crown Is Yours As a Corporate Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility Intern, you’ll support the team responsible for shaping how we show up in the world. You’ll help bring our community initiatives, charitable partnerships, and public policy priorities to life through compelling storytelling and hands-on program support. Working across Corporate Communications, you’ll gain exposure to media strategy, employee engagement, and Corporate Social Responsibility programming while contributing to meaningful projects that reach customers, teammates, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Political Science, Nonprofit Management, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear, compelling, and audience-focused communications.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • A demonstrated interest in corporate philanthropy, event planning, communications, public relations, or the sports and entertainment industry.
  • Previous experience in communications, public relations, event planning, or a related field through coursework, internships, or extracurricular involvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive.
  • A collaborative, positive mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • The ability to approach projects with urgency, energy, and accountability while performing well under pressure.
  • Availability to commit to a full-time internship schedule of 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of communications materials, including press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, award submissions, social media copy, communication plans, and speaking engagement proposals.
  • Assist with Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, including charitable campaign execution, customer-facing free-to-play pools, employee volunteer event planning, charitable partner research, onboarding support, and intranet updates.
  • Create engaging written, social, and multimedia content that promotes community initiatives and public policy efforts to customers, media, and other key stakeholders.
  • Conduct research and track industry trends, media coverage, legislative developments, and internal data to inform communications strategy and reporting.
  • Provide administrative and operational support through media monitoring, agenda development, meeting coordination, research projects, and notetaking.
  • Collaborate closely with members of the Communications Team to support team objectives and gain insight into cross-functional initiatives across the company.
