About The Position

Servco’s internship program offers top students the opportunity to gain relevant work experience in a professional setting. Interns work on challenging and meaningful projects that allow them to apply classroom knowledge, demonstrate their abilities and build relationships with experienced professionals. Successful interns may be considered for future employment opportunities within Servco. Program Details Location: In-person, Honolulu, Hawaii Duration: 8 weeks (06/08/2026 - 07/31/2026) Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week About the Role Servco is seeking a motivated summer intern to join our Corporate Reporting team. This internship provides hands-on exposure to key financial reporting responsibilities, including monthly close and consolidation processes, and quarterly financial reporting deliverables. The internship program also provides additional opportunities to work with other teams throughout the Accounting & Financial Services ("AFS") Department, including General and Automotive Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax and Internal Audit.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or graduated within the last 6 months from a college/university program
  • Previous experience with volunteer work, student activities or leadership roles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to take direction, work independently, and complete tasks as assigned
  • Ability to build effective relationships and establish partnerships to accomplish goals
  • Completion of at least one introductory accounting course in college/university program

Responsibilities

  • Complete monthly close and consolidation tasks
  • Prepare quarterly financial reporting deliverables
  • Execute various tasks throughout the AFS Department, including General and Automotive Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Internal Audit, and Tax
  • Gain understanding of the Company's financial systems
  • Collaborate with divisional accounting teams located on the mainland and in Australia
  • Participate in developmental and skill building opportunities
