Overview: The Summer Executive Associate (SEA) Program is designed for 1st year MBAs 10 weeks of impactful project-based assignments, with significant access to senior management and the bank’s previous Executive Associates (EA). The Enterprise Sales Enablement team partners closely with line of business to develop sales framework, data driven guidance, and messaging that support strategic priorities at M&T Bank. By connecting teams with the resources and clear go-to-market strategies, we help streamline execution and elevate the client experience. As a Summer Executive Associate, you’ll play a meaningful role in shaping how the enterprise creates omni channel marketing and sales customer experiences, equips frontline teams with the processes, education, reporting, technology, and intelligence for effective customer engagements, to maximize customer experience, deepen wallet share capture, and accelerate organic sales revenue growth. You’ll partner with the team on high‑visibility projects, help structure and solve ambiguous business challenges, and collaborate across multiple lines of business. Your responsibilities could include: Co‑design and document future‑state sales processes grounded in the needs and pain points of sales teams, partners, and customers; translate insights into clear workflows, SOPs, and playbooks Use human‑centered research methods (e.g., interviews, journey mapping, feedback synthesis) alongside KPI analysis to identify friction, bottlenecks, and handoff gaps across lines of business Review existing documentation, logging methods, and manual workflows to identify where processes break down for users and recommend improvements that increase clarity, adoption, and efficiency Support pilots and process changes, incorporating frontline feedback to iteratively refine solutions Produce executive‑ready deliverables that clearly communicate user insights, rationale for change, and expected outcomes Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand. Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable. Complete other related duties as assigned. Scope of Responsibilities: Perform project/management related assignments in field of expertise within the Summer Executive Associate Program.
