Department Overview The Raymond James Alternative Investments Group (AI Group) includes over 40 professionals responsible for the research, marketing, operations and administration of alternative investments. Currently, ten professionals are dedicated to product development and due diligence. The Due Diligence Team (“IDD Team”) includes individuals who hold the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation as well as the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation and collectively have extensive experience in alternatives research, including hedge funds, private equity, real estate, distressed debt, venture capital, private credit, and real assets. The AI Group reviews and selects high-quality, non-traditional investment products to serve the more extensive financial needs of certain qualified investors. Job Summary Under general supervision, the Alternative Investments Summer Associate will support the IDD Team in conducting quantitative and qualitative due diligence, investment analysis (e.g. financial modeling, risk analysis, validating investment merits, etc.), and making recommendations on hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds, credit funds, and other non-traditional investment opportunities. The summer associate position is a temporary role. Start Date: Monday, June 1, 2026 End Date: Friday, August 7, 2026 Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week.
