Department Overview The Alternative Investment Operations team provides comprehensive oversight of platform operations for alternative investments. The team partners with financial advisors and sales assistants to facilitate subscription and redemption processes for products such as Private Equity Funds, Hedge Funds, Real Estate Funds, and Credit Funds. I n addition to transaction support, the team manages key operational functions including commission processing, account transfers, re-registrations, and other related projects to ensure accuracy, compliance, and a seamless client experience. Job Summary Participants in this initiative will develop a broad range of skills, including project management, effective communication, investment fundamentals, and an understanding of fund structures (both brokerage and fee-based). They will also enhance proficiency in Excel and strengthen interpersonal communication skills. The role may involve direct interaction with investment funds and fund administrators, working closely with the Senior Manager of Operations to ensure successful execution. The summer associate position is a temporary role. Start Date: Monday, June 1 , 202 6 End Date: Friday, August 7 , 202 6 Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Fundamentals of alternative investments and financial markets
  • Fund structures, including brokerage and fee-based models
  • Operational processes within investment servicing
  • Excel spreadsheets
  • Skill in Project management and organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Adapt to evolving project requirements and regulatory standards
  • Work independently
  • Freshman or Sophomore standing ( December 202 7 -May 202 9 graduates) pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
  • Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
  • Eligible applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (including beyond OPT/EAD) .
  • High School (HS) (Required)
  • General Experience - 4 to 6 months

Responsibilities

  • On-boarding funds to the platform
  • Working under the direction of Senior Manager
  • Discussions with fund managers/administrators on operations (fund structure, transaction timing, share classes, investment strategy)
  • Attend and lead meetings with internal team members and external parties
  • Documenting process flows
  • Adding funds to the platform system
  • Assisting with servicing agreements
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
