About The Position

The Summer Analyst will be responsible for providing necessary insight and input on construction schedule, cost and complexity. The construction team works alongside the project’s in-house design, financial and development management team to manage costs, explore building system alternatives, coordinate zoning and permits, and oversee the project’s construction bid and contract process. Related’s summer analyst program intends to train and evaluate the next generation of leaders. Our formal 10-week internship programs provide students with the opportunity to work on critical projects integral to our team's success. Interns work alongside some of the best minds in Real Estate, in an innovative, fast-paced environment and are expected to approach tasks and projects with dedication and initiative. Our internship program connects students with industry leaders and provides foundational real estate knowledge through a speaker series and networking events. We focus on accelerating growth with hands-on professional development and training. Recognizing that real estate thrives on relationships, we create an engaging experience with volunteering, portfolio tours, and intern led activities, all designed to build collaboration and a connected cohort.

Requirements

  • Current undergraduate sophomore with a target graduation date between December 2026-Spring 2028
  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, and other related fields
  • A strong passion for real estate development
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of technical skills and job specific knowledge
  • Demonstrates clear and concise communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Self-starter, demonstrates a proactive approach to tasks and challenges
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to new challenged in a dynamic environment
  • Resume must include expected graduation month/year
  • Related is not offering visa sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Review and summarize documents including but not limited to partnership agreements, audits, and term sheets
  • Compile market research to draw comparisons between different properties
  • Participate in weekly meetings on current projects
  • Assist in creation, execution and monitoring project work plans and revises as required to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Participate in creating overall project schedule and oversees timely execution
  • Assist with management of day to day operational aspects of the project
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
