What You'll Do What You’ll Work On The candidate will be exposed to cost estimating, planning and scheduling, materials procurement, cost control, and quality management. Assist with drawing and document coordination. This would entail sending drawings to bidders via DFS (Digital File Sharing) bid software, keeping project documents organized, and distributing documents to all parties involved with a project. Assist with multiple project management tasks such as construction schedules, budget maintenance, procuring subcontractor proposal, project estimating, and assisting in contract scopes of work. Prepare submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, bid analysis, contract initiation documents, project selection samples binders, etc. Develop and maintain project matrices for document control. Excel spreadsheets are used to track bidding companies, RFI’s, drawings, and submittals, etc. Phone skills/interpersonal skills: be able to interact with architects, trade contractors, and vendors.

Requirements

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student with a strong interest in real estate construction
  • Comfortable working with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; exposure to mapping software is a plus
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Curious, proactive, and willing to ask thoughtful questions
  • High-performing student with a strong academic track record
