The Engineering organization is divided into four Module Centers, including Hot Section, Compression and Mechanical Systems, Fans and Externals, and Product Delivery. The Module Centers are an extraordinary engineering organization, aligned by component-level hardware in different sections of the jet engine. We design, manufacture and service aircraft engines, auxiliary and ground power units, and small turbojet propulsion products. Pratt and Whitney Hot Section Engineering (HSE) is looking for a highly motivated, goal oriented, detail focused engineer to join its 2026 Engineering Summer Internship Program. You have the opportunity to try one of four disciplines (Project, Design, Structures, and Durability) during your summer experience. This summer internship will require a candidate that can demonstrate leadership, excellent communication skills, and a command of high school foundational science and math knowledge. Specific responsibilities will be supporting an Integrated Product Team (IPT) consisting of a cross functional group of Project, Design, Structures, and Durability team members. You will need to communicate the status of your technical tasks to CIPT leaders and your fellow IPT members. You may also have the opportunity to work closely with purchasing, suppliers, customer support and or the sustainment teams to support engine deliveries and field challenges. At the end of the summer you will summarize your overall experience with a final presentation for the HSE Leadership Team. Must be a U. S Citizen to apply.
