The Early Career Summer internship is a 10-week program where interns will work directly with senior advisors and brokers to help clients identify risks to their people, property, or financial and strategic goals. This program offers hands-on experience in risk management and insurance broking, a vibrant cohort community, dedicated program team for learning and development, a mentorship program, exposure to senior leaders, and valuable networking opportunities. Exceptional juniors may receive a full-time offer upon completion. Interns will collaborate with clients to assess risks, build relationships with insurance companies, and secure competitive insurance quotes using negotiation skills, aiming to minimize clients' overall risk costs. Interns will be aligned to a specific business group and work hands-on on an account team.

  • Must have legal work authorization in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Green Card holder at the time of application)

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with senior advisors and brokers to help clients identify risks to their people, property, or financial and strategic goals
  • Collaborate with clients to assess risks
  • Build relationships with insurance companies
  • Secure competitive insurance quotes using negotiation skills
  • Work hands-on on an account team to make an impact
  • Gain exposure to diverse client accounts ranging from small local businesses to Fortune 500 companies
  • Work alongside colleagues on high-level accounts and learn from Senior Leaders, Account Executives, and Brokers
  • Shadow, create and/or expand benchmarking reports
  • Prepare presentations for client and or prospect/meetings
  • Develop internal and external renewal strategy documents
  • Collaborate with other interns across regions on business projects and through virtual learning communities
  • Build a network of colleagues at all levels of the organization
