The Bike Shop department is seeking a System Engineer to work in an engineering environment to co-develop engineering hardware in accordance with customer and internal requirements, as well as industry standards. Candidates will collaborate with multi-disciplined design teams across multiple projects to bring design concepts to fruition, providing rapid engineering, fabrication, and prototyping solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle. This position is an onsite role .
Requirements
- This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or higher) Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Sophomore year by the start of Summer 2026
- Academic or internship experience that included hands-on testing of electronic equipment
- Experience with troubleshooting technical issues in an academic or internship setting, including the use of common commercial test equipment.
- Experience with CAD Software tools such as Mentor Graphics, Altium, CREO, SolidWorks, etc.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Nice To Haves
- Experience with or exposure to various military platforms for weapons conveyance, such as ships, ground combat systems, fixed and rotary wing aircraft
- Experience with instrumentation and collection of large data sets, including the application of scripting or automation to data collection and analysis
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Experience in a direct customer facing role
