The Integrated Solutions Modeling and Architecture (ISMA) directorate is composed of an energetic multi-disciplinary team of over 300 engineers working collaboratively with internal and external customers and programs to provide mission level modeling & simulation of sensing & effects capabilities from seabed to space, multi-level operation analysis, integrated system of system architectures and operations research. We are in the front end of the business pushing the boundaries of innovation and creativity to establish next-generation mission solutions from system-level up to campaign-level. What You Will Do You will contribute your knowledge of performance engineering practices, and procedures to evaluate work across a wide range of intriguing computational problems. You will support, contribute, and collaborate in a team environment, receiving input from the program or team experts, and work on projects, determining and developing approaches and solutions. You will conduct analysis to support the warfighter and direct requirements for Raytheon’s products and services You will provide development support throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Must be in Junior, Senior, or Post Graduate standing level by the start of Summer 2026 and pursuing a Bachelors or higher degree program in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Knowledge of data analysis, operations analysis, and statistics especially dealing with large volumes of data.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Specific majors: Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Math, Applied Math, Industrial Engineering, Physics, Aerospace or related scientific or STEM discipline.
  • Minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA.
  • Knowledge of Unix or Linux computing environments.
  • Knowledge of AFSIM, ESAMS, Simulink, MATLAB, C++, Fortran, and Python
  • Knowledge of the system engineering life-cycle model
  • Coursework or internship experience in the following areas: Software development processes and object-oriented design.
  • Radio-Frequency Concepts and Signal Processing
  • Electronic Warfare
  • Scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or Python
  • Numerical computing environments such as MATLAB
  • Computational Methods in Aerospace engineering
  • Programming & Data Structures
  • Software design
