2026 Intern, Digital Health, Clinical Team
About The Position
SRA’s Digital Health Lab - Samsung strives to offer superior digital health products on our wearables and phones, backed by world-class research, technical, and manufacturing capabilities. As a cross-disciplinary health-focused product development team consisting of research, technology, design, strategy and product functions, we define the next generation of mobile health product and service experiences for Samsung devices. We are looking for a Summer intern in the Clinical team to join our experienced, collaborative, and entrepreneurial medical device team, backed by Samsung’s global reach, to shape the future of consumer-engaged digital healthcare. You will help the Clinical Verification and Validation (V&V) Team work on clinical studies for Samsung’s software as medical device features. This includes working with senior engineers to create or update clinical study tools. You should be very familiar with MATLAB and clinical documentation.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a PhD or Master’s program in STEM or an Engineering field with an interest in clinical research (Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical engineering)
- Experience with MATLAB
- Knowledge of wearables and technology
- Experience in data analysis, statistical calculations and data presentation
- Ability to communicate ideas with cross functional team and senior leadership
- Familiarity with MS Word, Excel
- Familiarity with Python
Responsibilities
- Work onsite daily with the Clinical V&V Team to help execute study protocols for Mobile/Wearable Applications
- Create or update post processing tools in MATLAB for clinical studies
- Author documentation for clinical tools (tool qualification reports)
- Work with cross-functional teams to procure, monitor, and analyze data
