Internship Summary: Prudential is seeking motivated and goal-orientated interns to join our team. Our summer internship program spans approximately 10 weeks, offering you a valuable opportunity to work on impactful projects where you can demonstrate your skills and talents. What you can expect: This internship program offers exciting opportunities across various areas within Global Technology & Operations , each with its unique focus. Our interns come from a wide range of majors — including business, analytics, engineering, mathematics, economics, and computer science — and contribute across technical, analytical, and operational teams. Placements are based on your skills, interests, and enterprise strategy. Your placement within the program will provide exposure to one of the following areas. For students interested in systems thinking, business processes, and how technology supports enterprise strategy, Architecture and Data Analytics & Management are for you: Architecture | Dive into scalable technology frameworks and systems that fulfill complex business requirements. Data Analytics & Management | Leverage advanced algorithms and data processing techniques to derive impactful strategic insights from large datasets. Engineering & Development | Utilize cutting-edge programming methodologies to construct and optimize software solutions, enhancing user functionality and performance. Security | Become a digital guardian by protecting assets and infrastructure through strategic risk management and threat assessment. Students from diverse academic backgrounds often excel in this area, particularly those with interest in risk, problem‑solving, or investigative work. These responsibilities provide a broad overview, and not all will apply to every placement:

Requirements

• Education | Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s program graduating between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Fields of Study | Open to all majors, with relevant fields including Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, and Computer Engineering, plus other technical areas with programming theory.
• Employment Authorization | Prudential does not provide visa sponsorship for this position. Successful candidates must possess the requisite US employment authorization to be eligible for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners and tech leads to contribute to impactful feature development and technical design.
• Engage in designing and developing scalable technology solutions aligned with organizational goals.
• Assist in creating user stories, process designs, and data models for agile delivery, particularly in Data Analytics & Engineering.
• Explore and leverage business systems and data tools to drive insights and strategic decisions.
• Depending on your placement, you may participate in software development activities (coding, testing, and debugging) or contribute through analysis, research, solution design or operational support.
• Advance understanding of emerging technologies, emphasizing innovation across all areas.
• Contribute to cybersecurity initiatives by identifying risks and implementing detections which monitor employees, digital assets, infrastructure, and sensitive data.
• Analyze business needs and help translate them into technical or process requirements.
• Support operational workflow improvements through data insights or process mapping.
