This Field Engineering Test organization is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and commissioning protection and control schemes and electrical power apparatus associated with the Bulk Electric System and Distribution System.

Requirements

Candidates must be pursuing a degree in electrical engineering technology (ASET) or electrical engineer (BSEE)

Responsibilities

Calibration and repair of Test Equipment such as power system simulators used to maintain relay systems as part of meeting regulatory compliance
Reviewing Test Equipment inventory
Managing repairs with original equipment manufacturers
Work with supervisors to ensure job aids, engineering documentation, material and test equipment is available for task execution
Job shadow supervisors during job site visits
