Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electromechanical Engineering.
  • Ideally, the successful candidate will have technical and analytical background and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • A concentration in Electric Power Engineering is highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to engineers engaged in electric utility field engineering within the Eastern Massachusetts operating region.
  • Assist with other engineering related work, as requested.
  • Learning the intrinsic operation of the electric system at Eversource Energy by performing field visits under the guidance of qualified personnel which may include: visiting substations with Field Engineers and/or Operating Mechanics to collect data, entry of information into the Database application
  • Supporting compliance functions to the Reliability Standards for the Bulk Electric Systems of North America as mandated by NERC.
