Overview: Summer Interns complete a 10 week internship centered around professional development, career growth and building the necessary skills to succeed. Summer Interns participate in projects and department initiatives that accelerate career growth and play an important role in building the future of the Bank. As an Intern, you will gain exposure to other departments through guest speakers and industry leaders and a built-in network with peers as well as priority consideration for full time opportunities throughout the Bank. What the Team Does: The team supports the Finance division by providing first line of defense risk management functions. By assisting with the identification and assessment of risks, risk monitoring and testing, and issues management. The team also provides support in the development and implementation of various operational risk and compliance-related initiatives within the business unit. The successful candidate may collaborate with representatives across several areas, including Controllership, Financial Planning & Analysis, Investor Relations, Tax, or Strategy. What the Intern will do: The intern will assist with control testing activities, following established scripts to guide walkthroughs and identify potential areas of control breakdown. key areas for review. In addition, the intern will participate in project-based work and document reviews, which may include initiatives within Financial Planning & Analysis.
