About The Position

HGA is seeking an Equity Operations Intern to support firmwide Equity initiatives through operational, research, and data-entry support. Working directly with the Equity Operations Lead, this role assists with programs and processes that advance inclusion, representation, and equitable practices across the firm. This is an intern-level position; a college degree is not required. Requirements

  • Some college coursework preferred OR 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Interest in equity-focused work, organizational operations, or social impact.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort with repetitive, structured tasks.
  • Ability to manage confidential information professionally

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational and administrative support for Equity initiatives.
  • Perform data entry related to Equity programs, partnerships, and participation.
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets, trackers, and internal documentation with accuracy.
  • Conduct research on potential, values-aligned partner firms to support the Authentic Partner Initiative, using publicly available information.
  • Gather and organize information for presentations, reports, events, and internal updates.
  • Assist with formatting tables, charts, and simple visuals using Microsoft Office tools.
