About The Position

The 2025 Internship for the Customer Support Associate position at Textron Aviation in San Antonio, TX, offers a unique opportunity for interns to gain hands-on experience in customer service within the aviation industry. Interns will work closely with Customer Service Managers and Technical Service Managers to address and resolve customer requests and issues effectively. This role serves as a vital link between customers and the aftermarket team, ensuring seamless communication and fostering strong relationships. Interns will also play a key role in developing customer retention strategies, which are essential for maintaining long-term client satisfaction and loyalty. Interns will be responsible for coordinating and communicating all aircraft-related issues with customers, ensuring that they are well-informed and satisfied with the services provided. Upon customer arrival, interns will meet with them to review the work scope and document any additional concerns or requests during the arrival debrief. This proactive approach not only enhances customer experience but also opens avenues for additional sales opportunities in maintenance, parts, warranty, and other associated programs that add value to the customer’s experience. Furthermore, interns will collaborate with the Finance team to review program coverage and pricing, as well as build, review, and approve invoices. Maintaining a positive relationship with customers is crucial, and interns will follow up to ensure that their needs are met and that the service provided aligns with their expectations. Additionally, interns will support initiatives aimed at improving the safety, quality, and efficiency of service center operations, contributing to the overall success of the team and the organization.
