Candidate should be able to have basic computer skills and an attention to detail. Support order picking inventory tasks, and shipping tasks. Associate should possess fluency with SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS) transportation software and Microsoft Office as well as knowledge in production and processing, safety, teamwork and coordination, and customer focus. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated initiative and be attentive to detail. Hours: 7:00a - 3:30p.

Requirements

  • Experience in shipping/warehousing setting is a plusEDUCATION:High School diploma, or GED certificate required.
  • Proficiency with Mircosoft Office suite
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Regularly required to stand, lift, bend, twist, and reach with arms and hands, stoop, crouch.
  • Ability to drive forklift
  • Ability to safely use cleaning tools and supplies

Nice To Haves

  • SAP experience preferred
  • Experience in shipping/warehousing setting is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Performs all work according to standards and proper safety standards
  • Prepare shipping documents
  • Maintains shipping files
  • Administer delivery notes, bills of lading, packing lists, shipping orders, interplant shipments
  • Knowledge of Return Goods Process
  • Ability to investigate inventory discrepancies
  • Assist with Cycle Count process
  • Communicate well with associates, work in a positive and professional manner
  • Any job-related duties as assigned by manager.
  • Reports all safety hazards, unsafe working conditions, abnormal circumstances
  • Pick/pack orders
  • Maintain housekeeping
  • Operate basic machines and equipment properly – includes scales, tape gun, utility knife, pallet jack, radio, ect.
  • Perform all basic packaging operations – read and follow work instructions, production orders, etc.
  • Perform scanning, packaging, and palletizing.
