About The Position
The Cashier at Houchens Food Group, Inc. is responsible for working a shift both accurately and efficiently, within Company policy, to ensure that the shift contributes to increased profitability of the store. This role involves receiving and disbursing money in establishments other than financial institutions, usually involving the use of electronic scanners, cash registers, or related equipment. The Cashier will often process credit or debit card transactions and validate checks.
