The Belmont Charter Network is seeking a High School 11th Grade ELA Teacher. The network's mission is to provide each student with a high-quality education supported by services that meet the needs of the whole child, focusing on academic, social, and emotional well-being. They are a family of 5 community schools supported by a non-profit partner to provide holistic services including out-of-school time, social work, and Head Start. The organization believes in joyful learning and education as a means to disrupt systemic racism, operating with a trauma-informed practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This 10-month position involves planning, organizing, and implementing an appropriate instructional program that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential, aligning with the mission and standards of Belmont Charter Network. The role is supervised by a member of the school leadership team.
