Requirements

• Excellent teamwork skills
• Able to communicate clearly
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Florida driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Animal care experience (domestic or exotic) preferred
• Commercial food preparation experience welcomed

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare diets for animal collection
• Process fruits and vegetables
• Handle meat, fish, rodents, invertebrates and other food items
• Wash and sanitize containers, surfaces and equipment
• Safely use kitchen utensils and appliances
• Determine measurements of weight and volume
• Keep storage and prep areas clean and orderly
• Assist with physical inventory and ordering
• Moderate to heavy lifting of supplies and equipment multiple times per day
• Coral reef tank, general maintenance and feeding inhabitants.
• Browse garden maintenance and harvesting.
