About The Position
The Zookeeper position at Northeastern Wisconsin Zoo & Adventure Park involves all aspects of daily animal care including diet preparation, feeding, cleaning, enclosure upkeep, health and welfare assessments, training and enrichment, record keeping, and assisting with veterinary procedures. This position provides coverage for several routes and includes working with a wide variety of species, including SSP and SAFE species. The role is rewarding but physically demanding, requiring outdoor work in all weather conditions. The work schedule includes weekends, holidays, and occasional evening events.
