About The Position

The Zookeeper position involves the care and management of animals in a zoo setting. Responsibilities include feeding, cleaning, and monitoring the health of the animals, as well as educating the public about wildlife and conservation efforts. Zookeepers work closely with veterinary staff to ensure the well-being of the animals and may also participate in breeding programs and habitat maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with animals, preferably in a zoo or similar environment.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills for public education.

• Bachelor's degree in zoology, biology, or a related field.
• Experience with animal training or enrichment programs.
