Summary The Zone Transportation Support Manager is responsible to manage all activities associated with the efficient operation of accounts in relations to West Support in pay and bill preparation. This role will be part the Ryder dedicated (DTS) and will have ownership of one region of accounts. This includes ensuring customer satisfaction, compliance, employee relations and continuous improvement. Requirements

  • H.S. diploma/GED required
  • Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required
  • One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required.
  • Advanced required Logistics industry knowledge advanced required
  • Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations. advanced required
  • Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components. intermediate required
  • Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production advanced required
  • Proven ability to effectively root cause and solve gaps with analytical resources (Preferred Experience: Excel (Advanced formula creations/Macros), Power BI, SQL, Alteryx)
  • Builds and manages effective teams
  • Strong leadership and motivating skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills within a diverse team environment
