The Zone Maintenance Supervisor supports the Facility Manager by overseeing daily maintenance operations and supervising the Zone Maintenance Shop for MUHA facilities, primarily serving Ambulatory Surgical Centers in the Charleston area. This role ensures routine and non-routine maintenance activities are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and codes. The position requires strong knowledge of healthcare facilities, building systems, and regulatory standards, along with the ability to manage outages, coordinate repairs, utilize CMMS and building automation systems, and procure services. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and capable of working independently while maintaining high standards of facility operations and compliance. The Zone Maintenance Supervisor supports the Facility Manager in overseeing and managing facilities activities for MUHA. The role involves supervising the MUHA Zone Maintenance Shop and ensuring both routine and non-routine tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with applicable standards and codes. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of healthcare facilities, building systems, and relevant operational policies, codes, and regulations. This position will be primarily assigned to the Ambulatory Surgical Centers in the Charleston area.
