About The Position

The Zone Lead (ZL) reports to the Zone Manager and supports merchandising in designated zones and maintains an active selling culture by ensuring that all visual aspects are set and upheld to documented company standards designed to drive sales. Provides expertise in visual standards, merchandising techniques, fixturing, and implementation of all in-store marketing elements (signs, vignettes, endcaps, tables, first look/flash finds) that reinforce seasons/holidays and in-store promotions within their designated areas. The Zone Lead influences store Team Members to be knowledgeable about visual merchandising and visual standards while always demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance. The ZL’s responsibilities require enthusiasm for vigorous lifting, carrying, moving around the warehouse-format store, and stocking.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent.
  • Background Check will be completed.
  • Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs.
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, climb, and reach at times.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Supports all aspects of the visual merchandising processes for the store by planning and leading transitions, reinventions, product assortment changes, and resets.
  • Maintains visual integrity, a neat/clean, organized environment, and inspires guests to discover ideas and solutions through compelling visual merchandising.
  • Supports Task Management by planning/executing the daily/weekly workload and assigned tasks as delegated by the Zone Manager.
  • Participates in all freight processes for incoming freight and/or transitions.
  • Processes freight sorts, stocks product in designated areas, including down stocking and end cap maintenance.
  • Supports the store team in customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, loss prevention expense control, and customer experience.
  • Serves as a role model and coach in all areas related to visual merchandising experience.
  • Communicates and teaches visual priorities and creation of visual moments that support the customer experience.
  • Reviews the store's financial and business data from the store scorecard, including sales and expenses, and acts within assigned zones to improve metrics.
  • Ensures the maintenance of a neat, clean, organized zone, ensuring the store is always up to date with current signing and sets.
  • Performs all other duties assigned based on business needs.
