Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid Michigan drivers license required
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is a plus
• Previous experience operating a labeler or casepacker machine is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk/stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot labeler, overlidders, X-ray equipment, and case/tray packaging machines
• Complete machine and line change-overs
• Perform and document quality inspections
• Maintain adequate supply of materials
• Perform inventory accuracy counts
• Maintain centerline documentation
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Perform clean-ups for product change-overs
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Complete paperwork and computer inventory transactions
• Correct operation and documentation of Critical Control Points (X-ray and Label scanner)
• Safe operation of Powered Industrial truck (Hi-lo)
• Use independent judgement and work well on a team
