Zingerman's Roadhouse is seeking a dedicated Roadshow service professional to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with open availability, particularly on weekends, and who are comfortable working both front-facing and behind-the-scenes phone shifts. We currently have full-time positions available, with year-round availability. Morning shifts may start as early as 6 AM, while night shifts can extend until 11 PM. The compensation for this role begins at $9.00 per hour plus tips, with a minimum expected earning of $14 per hour and an average of $17-18 per hour based on performance and tips received. As a Roadshow service professional, you will be responsible for greeting all guests, whether they arrive via drive-thru, walk-up, or phone, and taking their orders in accordance with our high standards of service. You will handle cash and card transactions responsibly, ensuring that your cash drawer remains balanced. A key part of your role will involve tasting and learning about all Roadshow products, as well as understanding the procedures of the Roadhouse dining room and kitchen. Punctuality is crucial; you are expected to arrive on time for all shifts, meetings, and training sessions, and to take responsibility for your own training. You will follow established service protocols, including the three steps to great service, the four steps of order accuracy, and the five steps to effectively handle customer complaints. Managing guest experiences and maintaining a clean and organized workspace will be essential, as will your ability to recognize when assistance is needed in various areas of the Roadhouse. You will be expected to respond positively to requests for help from guests and colleagues alike, and to maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu to answer any guest inquiries. Participation in weekly team huddles and adherence to the guidelines outlined in the Roadie Handbook are also part of your responsibilities. Respecting and supporting your leaders in the Roadshow and Roadhouse is paramount, and you will utilize the 'go direct' policy when necessary to address any issues with co-workers.
