About The Position

The Lead Security Architect at GuidePoint Security is responsible for designing and implementing security solutions with a focus on zero trust architecture. This role involves leveraging extensive experience in offensive and defensive security to enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture and provide trusted expertise to clients, including Fortune 500 companies and U.S. government agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of total experience in offensive/defensive security or systems engineering.
• 3+ years' experience in a security engineering role in an enterprise environment.
• 1+ years of experience supporting a zero trust architecture deployment.
• Cybersecurity related certification.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security solutions with a focus on zero trust architecture.
• Evaluate and enhance the organization's security posture.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate best-fit security solutions.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior security engineers.
• Support the deployment of security solutions in enterprise environments.
