About The Position

Position Summary Set up and break down for facility events. Drive Zamboni during hockey games. This role will pay an hourly rate of $14.00 to $16.00 Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until April 17, 2026. About the Venue The Bank of Oklahoma Center, also known as the BOK Center, is located downtown and serves as the premier sports and entertainment venue of the greater Tulsa region. Offering a19,199-seat multi-purpose arena and 565,000 total square footage designed to accommodate concerts, family shows and other special events and has been named on multiple occasions one of the country's best venues.

Requirements

  • A strong communicator: be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in written format to management and staff as well as to all types of clients
  • Organized, able to prioritize, and have strong time management skills
  • Able to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and inter-personal skills.
  • Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail and service oriented.
  • Strong orientation to customer service and ability to work with other staff members in the facility.
  • Prior experience driving a Zamboni machine required.
  • Prior experience with ice maintenance
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • The employee must be able to perform strenuous physical duties at time, including lifting, carrying, moving and climbing.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, stooping, lifting and walking.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous facility operations experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general physical labor associated with set up and break down for events i.e. ice install, ice maintenance, glass repair, rink repair.
  • Make repairs as directed by the Operations Manager.
  • Operate a forklift truck.
  • Drive zamboni during hockey games maintaining the ice to AHL and/or NCAA standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
