About The Position

College of the Sequoias Community College District accepts applications for part-time adjunct faculty pools to teach Communications within its Language/Communication Studies Department continuously. Screening committees will conduct the screening of candidates. Meeting the minimum qualifications for a position does not assure the applicant of an interview. If the department does not have an immediate need to add candidates to their pool, applications remain in the queue for consideration until the need arises, or for one year in active status.

Requirements

• Minimum qualifications for all disciplines as outlined in the 'Minimum Qualifications for Faculty and Administrators in California Community Colleges'.

• Unofficial transcripts (official transcripts will be required upon hire).
• For foreign degrees, a professional evaluation of coursework must be submitted.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive classroom instruction to community college students under the general direction of a dean or director.
• Teach face-to-face classes as required by the department.
