The YouthWorks Regional Support Program Manager plays a crucial role in the ongoing implementation of youth employment and career readiness initiatives. This position is responsible for providing program-related regional support to a statewide network of program partners, particularly focusing on the YouthWorks program, which is a subsidized youth employment initiative administered by Commonwealth Corporation on behalf of the Executive Office of Workforce and Labor Development (EOWLD). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce, contract negotiations, budgeting, and youth career or workforce development programming. This full-time position is currently hybrid, requiring a mix of remote work and occasional travel to program partner sites for site visits. In this role, the manager will provide leadership and support to grantees, ensuring that program deliverables are executed in a timely manner. This includes regular communication with program contacts, offering guidance on program design improvements, and coordinating resources to meet regional needs. The manager will also document outreach and communication with grantees, facilitate professional development opportunities, and conduct site visits to assess program practices and identify areas needing assistance. Additionally, the role involves grant management, including supporting the Request for Proposals process, financial oversight, and liaising between internal operations and regional partners. The YouthWorks Regional Support Program Manager will also engage in community outreach, plan program awareness sessions, and maintain the program's content management portal. The position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The successful candidate will be expected to travel frequently within Massachusetts and must possess a valid driver's license.
