About The Position

Our committed and well-trained workforce professionals deliver comprehensive workforce solutions at integrated career centers, sector-focused centers and community, and partner sites. • Responsible for establishing and maintaining professional relationships with local employers and community agencies, focusing on developing work experience sites, leading to participant employment opportunities. • Interviews participants to gather information on correct appropriate site match and make timely referrals to work experience locations. • Conduct all employment background checks for participants and work experience site supervisors • Collect participants timesheets on a bi-weekly basis • Address any participant performance issues that may arise at the worksite. • Conduct site visits quarterly. • File management • CWDS database management • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Strong communication
  • Customer Service and organizational skills
  • Must possess skills in developing, maintaining, and testing reporting systems, with experience in database management, networking, and Microsoft Office programs
  • Familiarity with working with TANF and at-risk youth between the ages of 17-24
  • 1-3 years' experience in Career Counseling or Employment Services and knowledge of workforce services
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast pace work environment with minimal supervision
  • Must have the ability to prioritize and work on numerous projects simultaneously

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred
