About The Position

WE’RE HIRING!!! FULL-TIME, YOUTH (WISe) MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST OPPORTUNITY LONGVIEW, WASHINGTON (SERVICING COWLITZ COUNTY AREA) $4,000 salary addition for WISe program differential!!! Requirements

  • Mental Health Professionals with a Master’s Degree in counseling, social services, or a closely related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience providing direct service to those with mental illness.
  • Licensed Agency Affiliated Counselor Certification with Department of Health (DOH) or ability to obtain within 30 days from date of hire.
  • Positive, solutions-oriented clinicians skilled at engaging and motivating children and youth to achieve participation in services.
  • Valid driver’s license & current automobile insurance, reliable transportation with an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of WISe (Wraparound with Intensive Services) principles and practice preferred, but not required at the time of hire.
  • Professional licensure as a LMHC/A, LMFT/A, or LICSW/A preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops with the individual in service, an assessment and comprehensive treatment plan that identifies the unique needs of each individual and may provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy.
  • Provide individual supportive therapy, i.e. problem-solving, role-playing, modeling and support, social skill development, and assertiveness training to increase client social and interpersonal activities in community settings.
  • Provide ongoing measurement of the individual in service outcomes and evaluation of intervention effectiveness.
  • Address barriers and potential health problems that impede the development of skills necessary for independent functioning in the community.
  • Clinical paperwork including documentation of all contacts, problems, interventions, determination of diagnostic eligibility, and dispositions of the case, including all referrals and termination summaries.
