About The Position

Youth Volleyball Official will be responsible for officiating youth volleyball at Mandan All Season Arena and/or local schools

Requirements

• Must have a background in volleyball and/or volleyball officiating.
• The ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Work with Recreation Supervisor to determine setup and take down procedures of volleyball equipment if needed.
• Follow rules set for each grade division.
• Work with Recreation Supervisor to determine appropriate opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Officiate all scheduled matches.
• Responsible for ensuring other official (if scheduled) is on site. Must call scheduled official if he/she does not show up for matches.
• Complete Initial Incident/Accident Reports as needed and give to the supervisor the following day.
• Report to work on time and ready to work. Absences must receive prior approval by the supervisor.
• Inform Recreation Supervisor prior to running out of supplies.
