About The Position

The Overnight Youth Treatment Specialist is responsible for providing daily care, counsel and supervision to the adolescents living within the Cook Claus residential home. This program provides services for substance abuse recovery for male and female adolescents ranging in age from 12-18 years old. Compensation + Collaboration Were starting team members up to $22 per hour with a generous benefits package. Some days are going to be tough. Those in our care have been abused and neglected, have histories of mental health challenges, and some are involved in the juvenile justice system. Their trauma is real. Theyre short on trust and sometimes quick to anger. Theyre not used to caring adults who show up day after day. But you will. You were built for this. Hours: Every other weekend, 11pm-7am.

Requirements

Applicant must be at least 20 years of age
High school diploma required
Must have a valid drivers license
Ability to pivot, bend, twist and stoop while bearing weight of individuals served.
Willing to pick up third shift hours with advanced notice.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. non-stationary weight through the approved technique is required.
Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services and agreement with the goal, purpose, and objective of the agency.

Nice To Haves

Additional education and/or certification in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field preferred.
Prior experience supervising at risk youth is preferred
