About The Position

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Seasonal, part-time, and non-benefitted.

Sessions: Must be able to work two or more sessions to qualify.

Dates: Available to work Monday-Thursday 7:30am – 12pm.
Session 1: June 1 - 12
Session 2: June 15 - 26
Session 3: July 6 - 17
Session 4: July 20 - 31

Requirements

• Must be 14 years of age.
• 1-3 years sport experience or instruction, and able to demonstrate intermediate skill level or higher.
• Approved criminal background investigation check if over 18 years of age.
• Must be proficient in either tennis or pickleball or both!

Responsibilities

• Ability to demonstrate correct stroke techniques, scoring, court rules, and court etiquette.
• Is on time and prepared for lessons.
• Prepares records and lesson progress reports.
• Follows all safety protocols outlined by the recreation center.
• Assists and supports students and parents in a positive and professional manner.
• Participate in seminars and classes to improve teaching skills and techniques.
• Attend meetings as required.
