About The Position
The YMCA at Green Hills is Now Hiring for Youth/Teen Specialty Staff Position Type: Part-time Pay Range starts at $15 per hour (or more depending on experience) Are you passionate about helping youth grow, learn, and have fun? Our YMCA Hiring Team is excited to welcome a Youth/Teen Specialty Staff who’s ready to create engaging experiences that build kids up in Spirit, Mind, and Body. In this role, you’ll lead activities, support program participants, and help create a safe, welcoming environment for youth and teens. You’ll plan fun and meaningful programs, build relationships with families, and serve as a positive role model while living out the YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. We’re looking for someone energetic, organized, and passionate about serving the community. You should feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, communicating with diverse groups, and helping youth thrive through structured activities and mentorship.
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 18
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with youth or teens preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills required
- YMCA New Hire Orientation (before first shift)
- CPR Pro / First Aid / AED certification within 30 days of hire
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field preferred
