About The Position

The Certified Youth Support Provider at Avanzar Wellness plays a crucial role in assisting youth from diverse backgrounds in their recovery journey. This part-time position focuses on engaging and motivating young individuals to define their recovery goals and develop personalized recovery plans, leveraging lived experience and professional training.

Requirements

• Have CPSS training and hold a 6 month or 1 year CPSS certification from BPA.
• Have a youth support certification.
• Have a valid driver's license and a registered vehicle with adequate insurance.
• Have a flexible schedule.
• Be able to type and use a computer.
• Be able to meet deadlines.
• Be able to communicate effectively, advocate, conduct research, and be resourceful.
• Be willing to share your recovery story to motivate clients.
• Be caring, outgoing, and empathetic.

Responsibilities

• Assessing client needs and goals.
• Assisting youth with developing recovery goals.
• Connecting clients to resources and community supports.
• Advocating on behalf of clients.
• Sharing personal recovery story to engage, motivate, and instill hope.
• Working with other providers and agencies to ensure clients have the support needed for success.
