Join us for an exciting opportunity to be part of the launch of our brand-new YMCA facility in Spring Grove! The Youth Sports Volleyball Instructor is responsible for leading engaging and instructional volleyball programs for youth participants. This role focuses on teaching fundamental skills, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship, and creating a positive, inclusive environment where every child can learn and grow. The instructor will plan and lead age-appropriate practices and drills, ensure participant safety, communicate effectively with parents and staff, and uphold YMCA values in every interaction. The ideal candidate has experience working with youth, knowledge of volleyball fundamentals, and a passion for helping young athletes build confidence and skills. POSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Provides direct supervision of a group of children in a sports program. Creates positive, nurturing relationships with children, while building cooperative relationships with parents/caregivers. Promotes and supports the potential of all youth in programs and facilitates peer-to-peer connections as part of the overall program experience.
