Amazing Athletes is hiring Youth Sports Coaches to teach fun, high-energy, multi-sport classes for children ages 18 months to 12 years in Cumming, Suwanee, Canton, Gainesville, Woodstock, Buford, Lawrenceville, and surrounding areas. Also known as: Youth Sports Instructor, Preschool Fitness Coach, Kids PE Teacher, Mobile Sports Coach, or Early Childhood Enrichment Instructor. Our mission is to teach children ages 18 months to 12 years the fundamentals of a variety of sports while promoting healthy habits and a lifelong love for physical activity. As a coach, you’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of young athletes in your community! THE POSITION: We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic coaches for our multi-sport enrichment program. Amazing Athletes was founded in 2003 and has grown into one of the nation’s largest multi-sport enrichment programs, with over 50,000 kids enrolled each year. New coaches can work 5–25 classes per week, earning $18/hr up to $30/hr. Our programs come with ready-made curriculums and extensive training to help you get up to speed quickly and enjoy working with the kids! Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be willing to travel to coach at locations in Cumming, Suwanee, Canton, Gainesville, Woodstock, and Lawrenceville
- Ideally based within 30 minutes of one or more of our service areas
- Must be willing to undergo fingerprinting and pass a Georgia comprehensive background check
- Must have access to a mobile device for scheduling and class management
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for working with kids
- Desire to grow with our expanding team and make a long-term impact
- Must be available to start immediately, with a few hours of training each week
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children or a background in sports is preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging sports programs based on the Amazing Athletes curriculum
- Teach children basic sports skills while emphasizing teamwork and sportsmanship
- Travel to local preschools, daycares, and community centers to conduct classes
- Monitor and record each child’s progress while ensuring a safe and fun environment
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, teachers, and facility staff
