THE HISTORY: Soccer Stars has been in the youth soccer business for over 24 years and have been recognized as the largest operating program in the US. The Position: We are looking to hire an energetic and fun-loving Soccer Coach! Within the afterschool hours from 2PM to 6:30PM. Who will lead our children in fun and educational activities while ensuring safety for all. Our ideal candidate has prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, camper or leader), and enjoys working with children, aged 2-12. This position is excellent for someone who has an interest in pursuing early childhood education, or child development. New Coaches can work 5-20 classes a week and can earn from $20per hr up to $45per hr. Our Coaches use individual attention to ensure every child has success Our Coaches use a non-competitive approach to ensure classes are fun with a stress-free environment Our Coaches use positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and celebrate success And finally, our coaches have a blast. They are open-minded, and know that coaching is a continuous journey. All Coaches are open to feedback and strive to be better by attending regular trainings and following the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual
Requirements
- Proven experience in working with children, or currently in the process of learning about coaching/child development/education.
- Demonstrates an expressive, charismatic, and nurturing personality
- Exhibits responsibility, dedication, and confidence with a strong work ethic
- Energetic individual with a high level of enthusiasm
- Ability to effectively manage groups of both children and adults
- Must have working availability on Weekdays from 2:00PM to 6:30PM.
Responsibilities
- Support the lead coach in the delivery of a dynamic and inspiring class, ensuring each child is engaged and challenged, and supporting them in achieving their motor development goals while fostering a passion for movement and healthy habits in an organized, structured, and enjoyable manner.
- Demonstrate effective and concise communication by reporting any issues to the office and offering appropriate solutions.
- Adhere to punctuality by arriving for class 15 minutes before the start time.
- Proficiently set up and dismantle equipment.
- Provide hands-on individual and group attention to children, offering personalized guidance and support.
