(DRP) is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) that provides outpatient recovery support services for those with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. We treat the whole person through our integrated programs of primary medical and behavioral healthcare. Our program philosophy is rooted in developing a healthy recovery ecosystem for those seeking long-term recovery. Through strong therapeutic relationships with our clients, helping them to understand the underlying social and emotional issues that drive their substance use, the recovery ecosystem focuses on five key areas: Health & Wellness Spirituality Employment Education/Training Family & Recovery Support What we’re looking for: DRP is currently seeking full-time The Youth Recovery and Services Support Coordinators. The Youth Recovery and Services Support Coordinators will oversee the day-to-day management of the team. The Youth Recovery and Services Support Coordinators will work to build community relations and ensure fidelity of all evidence-based practices is maintained. The Youth Recovery and Services Support Coordinators makes certain reports are submitted in a timely manner and will work closely with the Program Director to ensure all project goals and timeline are being met. Compensation Range: This position is supported through grant funding. As a result, compensation is determined by the grant budget and may fall within a designated pay rate or range set by that funding source. The starting pay for this position is $21.63/hr. and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience. This is a non-exempt role that is eligible for overtime compensation. The Ideal candidate will: Have a great attitude and people skills; strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to individuals from diverse backgrounds Provide guidance and leadership to the team, including setting strategic goals, and continuous improvement initiatives Link individuals to identified services (housing, treatment, medical services, employment, etc.) Provide services directly to the community and build community partners Have a general and broad understanding with Detroit Resources included but not limited to, substance disorder, Mental Behavioral Health etc. Input data directly into iPad/tablet during the client meeting, or following the client meeting Complete reports as required to the Program Director, working closely with the Program Evaluator and all program staff In conjunction with the Human Resources Department, recruit, train, evaluate and provide direct supervision of program staff Maintain continuous assessment and provides ongoing feedback to staff regarding their performance Complete written performance evaluations as required Market and distribute information to assure the necessary referral network and program sustainability Ensure adherence to protocols, policies, and procedures of the Agency as well as the evidence-based intervention models for service planning and program implementation Attend meetings and conferences as required for assurance of current knowledge and competence Develop and maintain written documentation (assessments, service plans, progress notes, monthly reports, and other programmatic documentation) Have a flexible work schedule to include the occasional evening, holiday and weekend as needed

Requirements

  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Understanding and familiarity Detroit resources focused on substance use disorder (SUD) and/or Mental Behavioral Health
  • Ability to work with vulnerable populations in a non-judgement manner, and work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience working with substance use disorder (SUD) or Mental Behavioral Health
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Works well with a team and limited direct supervision
  • A valid and unrestricted State of Michigan Driver’s License, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Electronic Health/Medical Records Systems

Nice To Haves

  • MCBAP and MDHHS Certifications preferred
  • Lived Experience with substance use disorder (SUD) or Mental Behavioral Health
  • Have a great attitude and people skills; strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to individuals from diverse backgrounds
