The Youth Programs Coordinator position is located in the Office of Education and Experience, Division of Public History, at the National Museum of American History (NMAH), Smithsonian Institution. The primary purpose of this role is to conceptualize, develop, deliver, and evaluate educational resources and programs for middle and high school teens, focusing on civics education and engagement. The incumbent will ensure high standards of historical accuracy and appropriate pedagogical techniques in public programs and publications. This position requires occasional work during evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as travel to schools around the United States.
