The Youth Program Instructor at Snapology of Los Gatos is a part-time role focused on delivering engaging STEAM education to children aged 5-10 through interactive activities using LEGO® bricks. Instructors will work approximately 8-15 hours per week, leading classes that promote creativity and problem-solving skills while ensuring a positive learning environment.

  • Lead groups of 16-18 students through curriculum-guided activities.
  • Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
  • Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of Snapology.
  • Adequately prepare for each program by reading curriculum, watching training videos, and/or participating in face-to-face training sessions.
  • Criminal and Child Clearances must be current.
  • Experience working with children in an online class environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis.
  • Must have a valid Driver License and own a vehicle to transport materials to schools.
