About The Position

We are currently recruiting for multiple Youth Program Education/Assistant I positions for the Child and Adolescent Unit (CAU) at Central Regional Hospital in Butner, NC. These positions will provide specialized direct services to extremely behaviorally challenged patients in the forms of behavioral programming, facilitating training/activities, in addition to assisting with health care needs to whatever is deemed necessary.

Requirements

• Advanced Physical Skills (APS) certification through the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) and CPR certification within 60 days
• Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of adolescent psychiatric and developmental disorders, intervention models used in behavior intervention programs, medication classes and their side effects
• Ability to observe, problem-solve, coach, report, document, and collect data regarding treatment / education interventions
• Ability to manage concurrent treatment plans and approved behavioral interventions during interactions with the patient, including ongoing assessments and applying judgement in the application of approved behavioral interventions
• Ability to convey information clearly to family members and treatment team members
