About The Position

Part-Time / Half-Time Youth Associate Pastor Qualifications Spiritual & Personal Qualifications A growing and mature Christian faith, evidenced by godly character, humility, integrity, and a servant's heart. A clear calling to youth ministry and a passion for discipling the next generation within the local church. Able to provide pastoral care, encouragement, and spiritual guidance to students and their families. Commitment to the vision, values, and mission of our church. Educational & Professional Qualifications Currently attending or graduated from an accredited seminary (MDiv. or equivalent theological degree preferred). Prior experience in youth ministry (volunteer or staff) strongly preferred. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Leadership & Ministry Skills Able to design, teach, and lead Biblically grounded youth messages, Bible studies, and small groups. Strong relational skills with students, parents, volunteers, and church staff. Reliable, organized, and proactive in planning events, retreats, and ministry programs. Team & Communication Skills A collaborative team player, able to work supportively with pastoral staff, elders, and ministry leaders. Strong communication skills—clear, respectful, and timely in verbal and written communication. Fluency in English required; familiarity with Korean language and Korean-American church culture preferred.
